Setting up price alerts in Chekly
Last updated July 2026 · 6 min read
Price alerts are the heart of Chekly. Once a product is on your watchlist, Chekly checks its price across supported retailers and notifies you the moment it drops into your preferred range. This guide walks through the full setup, from adding your first product to fixing alerts that stop arriving.
Add products to your watchlist
Open the Chekly app and use the search bar to find a product from a supported store such as Amazon, Walmart, or Best Buy. You can also paste a product link directly. Tap "Add to watchlist" on the product page to start tracking it.
On the free plan you can track up to 25 products at no cost. If you need more, Premium unlocks unlimited tracking for $1.99 per month.
Set a target price
After adding a product, open it from your watchlist and tap "Set alert". Enter the price you would be happy to pay. Chekly compares the live price against this target on every check and only notifies you when the price meets or beats it, so you are never spammed with minor changes.
A practical starting point is 10 to 15 percent below the current price. The price history chart on each product page shows how low the item has gone before, which helps you pick a realistic target.
Choose notification channels
Chekly can reach you in two ways. Push notifications are enabled by default and appear on your phone as soon as a deal is found. Telegram instant deal notifications are available on both the free and Premium plans: go to Settings, tap "Connect Telegram", and follow the link to our bot to pair your account.
Premium subscribers receive prioritized price drop alerts, meaning their watchlists are checked more frequently and notifications are delivered first.
Read the price history chart
Every tracked product includes a detailed price comparison chart. The line shows the price over time for each retailer, and the shaded band marks the lowest and highest recorded prices. Use it to spot seasonal patterns, confirm that a "sale" is genuinely a good deal, and decide whether to buy now or wait.
Troubleshoot missing alerts
If alerts stop arriving, work through this checklist:
- Confirm notifications for Chekly are allowed in your phone's system settings.
- Check that the alert's target price is still below the product's current price.
- If you use Telegram, make sure you have not blocked or muted the Chekly bot.
- Verify the product is still available at the retailer; discontinued items stop updating.
